Playful Maths in Senior Infants and First Class
We love maths in our class. We make it as fun and playful as possible. We have been very busy this term- looking at various ways to represent numbers, data, measuring, number formation, understanding the concept of a minute and 2-D shapes.

Transition Programme with Butterfly Garden
We started our transition programme from preschool to primary for next years incoming Junior Infants. We have a great partnership with our local preschool in Shinrone - Butterfly Garden.
We will organise about 3 visits per term. This really helps the children when they are transitioning from preschool to primary. It helps take the fear out of it as they are very familiar with the building and the adults in the school.
The children play with toys and we have a story and a bit of a boogie!
